I am a substitute teacher, a self employed artist, wife and mom who also works the computer end of dh’s home based business. For fun I use the glue gun. I’ve always got a new book close at hand and idea in my head just screaming to get out. I am green and artsy and into family, art, business, gardening, permaculture, new technologies, cultural anthropology, the evolution of religion, aspergers, music and movies.
My husband is a go go go guy who works only for himself, plays guitar like mad, watches heart pounding action packed movies, cooks delicious cookies, reads adventure and war novels and restores old everythings.
My daughter, Keeker, is a happy go lucky, sing songy, rock collecting, novel reading, etiquette junky, party diva, drama princess.
My son, Fish, is a sword fighting, dinosaur drawing, superhero, unnaturally lucky board game player, electric guitar rock star.

I love your website. I find it very refreshing, intersting and educational. You are giving a wonderful service to anyone who comes across your site. I strongly believe many people will benefit greatly from the many topics that you cover. One of the links that I really enjoyed was HolyBible.com. Congratulations for a job well done.
I love you.

Renee,
AS ALWAYS, YOU ARE A BREATH OF FRESH AIR, artistic, inventive, intelligent. Can’t wait to hear if your kids ever got to read “The Sense of Wonder” by Rachel Carson. It’s still quite a beautiful book. I can’t wait until they’re old enough to read “A Wrinkle In Time, by Madeleine L’Engle. Along the way I hope they savor Mister Twain, particularly Tom Sawyer and much, much later, the unexpurgated version of his Autobiography. And some day soon, if you haven’t already, you should consider listening to PETER AND THE WOLF, either the one narrated by Danny Kaye or even the one narrated by David Bowie. I still love that and I think they’d like it too!
Big Smiles from Seattle to Oklahoma! I’ll end with a quote from one of my favorite and insanely comedic musical heroes, Victor Borge:
“I wish to thank my parents for making it all possible…and I wish to thank my children for making it necessary.”

I enjoyed reading your blog today. I came from one of the yahoo groups (I think it’s living simple in a computer age- or something like that. I like they group, just can’t recall the name right now.)
I’ll be back to visit when I have more time (gotta get the my goats moved.)
